The performing arts aren’t a luxury — they are the lifeblood of thriving communities
The Waiheke On Stage Foundation was born from that simple belief.
Our funds are held as a Donor Advised Fund within the Auckland Foundation . This relationship enables us to access the investment management services and charitable status offered by the Auckland Foundation. It ensures that all donations we receive are tax deductible for the donor, and earning the best available returns as we build our permanent endowment.
The Auckland Foundation is the community foundation for the Auckland region. It is a locally governed, independent not-for-profit that acts as a ‘connector’ between local philanthropy and community needs and opportunities. Its mission is to enable and encourage generosity to create permanent funding streams through endowments to achieve long-term transformation. The Auckland Foundation is a platform which enables impactful giving by generous Aucklanders. We are grateful for the support of the Auckland Foundation as we work to build our fund to support theatre in our community.
The Waiheke On Stage Foundation has an Advisory Committee whose role is to select projects, groups and individuals to receive support. The members of the Advisory Committee are all Waiheke residents with backgrounds in philanthropy, theatre, and community service.
